Understanding...
Understanding is a great thing.... Just that, when you can feel others pain and suffering, its tough to be happy... However, as Richard* says, if your happiness depends on someone/something then you have a problem...

i guess each of us has a problem...
atleast for our loved ones...
but they are life..
aren't they?
i agree with lucky... even the slightest pain for my loved ones would not let me in peace.
